This is when they become more aware of their surroundings. They start to realize that if Mommy isn't with them, she is out there.....  moreHi Jenni, I got your post about Wyatt not sleeping. Lily my 9 month old went through the exact same thing at about 5 months. This is when they become more aware of their surroundings. They start to realize that if Mommy isn't with them, she is out there...somewhere. Its was a few weeks of sleep confusion. This is where the routine helped get us back on track. I really tried to be consistent and keep her on a two nap schedule - in at 9:30am back in again at 2pm - bed for the night by 7pm. Also, I have never put my girls to bed asleep, they are always sleepy but awake. It is so important for them to be able to soothe themselves to sleep. I wrote a post about Daylight Savings time called "Conspiracy Against Parents", and how tough that can be on the kiddos and Moms. Maybe that is whats going on with your sweetie pie. Love the profile pic! Can't wait to check out your blog. I could use a little Cabo in my life.   less
